We do not provide assistance for cancer medication or any over the counter medications, specialty foods, or supplements. We reserve the right to decline any requested medication we feel does not meet our requirements.
The Bobo Fund does not reimburse for previously purchased medications or food or make payments directly to the pet owner. We make payment directly to your prescribing veterinarian or pharmacy* towards the cost of FUTURE approved medication/food only.
*CVS, Walgreens, Costco, Walmart, and other similar pharmacies do not allow payment to be called in over the phone. If you receieve your pet's medication from one of these pharmacies, we can call in payment to your vet for the funding period.
Approval and length of assistance may vary depending on the medication, number of medications, and available funding. Our goal is to help pet owners on a temporary basis, for a minimum of 30 days, a maximum of 90 days. Most grants are around $150 per pet. When your application has been approved, you will receive details about how much medication we are able to assist with.
We do NOT have geographic restrictions, but you must be located within the US.
Details about when you may reapply will be provided once approved. You can reapply a maximum of two times.
